<strong>2018</strong>)<br />
Taking place through 27 th to 31 st<br />
of October <strong>2018</strong>, HANIFF <strong>2018</strong> is<br />
considered as a successful film festival in<br />
Vietnam with many exceptional works<br />
from 45 countries and territories. The<br />
film "The Dark Room" by an Iranian<br />
filmmaker praised by judges and<br />
experts, received the reward "Best<br />
Feature Fillm" this year. HANIFF <strong>2018</strong><br />
also marks the success of Filipino and<br />
Vietnamese filmmakers with big prizes<br />
going to young talents.<br />
In addition to film screenings, seminars,<br />
workshops, etc. HANIFF <strong>2018</strong> also<br />
hosted two other traditional activities,<br />
HANIFF Campus and Film Project<br />
Market, with the participation of 30<br />
young talents from the Philippines, Iran,<br />
Singapore, India and Vietnam – the<br />

LAUNCHES A PHOTO BOOK OF HANOI<br />

After 16 months discovering and taking millions of photos of Hanoi, the British<br />
photographer Marcus Lacey has picked out nearly 200 pictures he loves<br />
the most to create the photo book “Hanoi Photographic.” Through Marcus<br />
Lacey’s lens, familiar images of Hanoi, such as the Flag Tower of Hanoi, Grand<br />
Cathedral, a sunset on West Lake or the daily activities of ordinary people, are<br />
represented in full emotion, displaying the modern and ancient alongside the friendly<br />
and thoughtful. For Marcus Lacey, Hanoi is an endless inspiration.<br />
This photo book was publicly introduced in the end of October <strong>2018</strong>.<br />

THE "THE LAST LIE" PLAY<br />
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the death of the author<br />
Luu Quang Vu (1988-<strong>2018</strong>), Tuoi Tre Theater (Youth Theatre) will<br />
perform the play “The Last Lie” as a tribute to the talented playwright<br />
of contemporary Vietnamese Theatre. Having the ambiance of a folk<br />
comedy, “The Last Lie” also delivers Luu Quang Vu’s message that,<br />
honesty or kindness must be built on “Truth,” that humans shouldn’t<br />
use tricks and lies to achieve their goals.<br />

Quest Music Festival <strong>2018</strong> features<br />
over 150 international and local<br />
guest artists, creating an incredible<br />
experience for over 18-year-olds from<br />
all over. With creativity and community<br />

self-improvement workshops, street<br />
