Internationale Zusammenarbeit<br />
Großen Umfang innerhalb des Arbeitsgebiets<br />
„Internationale Angelegenheiten“ nimmt die<br />
Technische Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklungs-<br />
und Schwellenländern ein. Die <strong>PTB</strong><br />
gibt ihre Erfahrungen weiter und leistet<br />
aktive Hilfe beim Aufbau von Systemen der<br />
Konformitätsbewertung mit den Komponenten<br />
Mess-, Normen-, Prüf- und Qualitätswesen,<br />
Akkreditierung und Zertifizierung<br />
(MNPQ) und Umweltschutz. Die Mittel<br />
werden überwiegend vom Bundesministerium<br />
für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung<br />
(BMZ) zur Verfügung gestellt. Im Berichtsjahr<br />
wurden 15 Länder in vier Kontinenten<br />
durch 17 bilaterale Projekte beim Aufbau<br />
ihrer technischen Infrastruktur allein aus<br />
Mitteln des BMZ unterstützt. Weitere Länder<br />
profitieren von regionalen und sektoralen<br />
Projekten. Der finanzielle deutsche Beitrag<br />
betrug mehr als 4 Mio. Euro. Die Nationalflaggen<br />
bzw. die regionalen Embleme zeigen,<br />
wo die <strong>PTB</strong> ihre Projekte durchführt.<br />

In the area of international affairs, Technical<br />
Cooperation with developing and newly<br />
industrialized countries is of great importance.<br />
The <strong>PTB</strong> offers its experience and lends<br />
active support for setting up conformity<br />
testing systems covering metrology, standardization,<br />
testing and quality assurance, accreditation<br />
and certification (MSTQ) as well as<br />
environmental protection. The funds are<br />
mainly made available by the Federal Ministry<br />
for Economic Cooperation and Development<br />
(BMZ) and by regional and international<br />
donors such as the EU and the World Bank.<br />
In the year under report, 15 countries in four<br />
continents were assisted within the scope of<br />
17 projects in setting up a technical infrastructure<br />
from BMZ funds alone. The financial<br />
contribution of Germany amounted to<br />
more than 4 million Euro. The ensigns or<br />
regional emblems show where <strong>PTB</strong> is implementing<br />
