Elektromobil in Sachsen
Die Sächsische Energieagentur – SAENA GmbH
ist das Kompetenzzentrum rund um die Themen
Energieeffizienz und erneuerbare Energien.
Als Unternehmen des Freistaates Sachsen
arbeitet die SAENA unabhängig und ist Ansprechpartner
für sächsische Unternehmen,
Kommunen und Privathaushalte. Seit 2009
gehört die Koordination der Modellregion
Elektromobilität Sachsen im Rahmen der
regionalen Projektleitstelle zu den Aufgaben
des Unternehmens.
Im Januar 2011 hat das Sächsische Staatsministerium
für Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Verkehr
die SAENA mit dem Aufbau und Betrieb einer
Kompetenzstelle für Elektromobilität beauf-
tragt. Damit sollen die Ziele des Freistaates
aus dem sächsischen Koalitionsvertrag von
2009 erreicht, Sachsen als Vorreiter moderner
Verkehrstechnologien etabliert und die Stärkung
der heimischen Wirtschaft vorangetrieben
werden. Durch die gemeinsam erfolgreiche
Bewerbung mit Bayern zum Schaufenster
Elektromobilität koordiniert die SAENA seit
April 2012 das Schaufenster ELEKTROMOBI-
LITÄT VERBINDET. In diesen Funktionen wird
folgendes Aufgabenspektrum abgedeckt:
· Vernetzung von Wissenschaft, Industrie,
kommunalen Institutionen und
Anwendern auf regionaler Ebene
· Orientierung von Entwicklungsprojekten
an Vorgaben und Zielen des Bundes
und der Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie des
Freistaates Sachsen
· Unterstützung von Projektpartnern bei
der Konzipierung von Projektanträgen und
bei der Umsetzung von Fördervorhaben
· Aufbau und Pflege von Netzwerken
· Information der sächsischen Öffentlichkeit
· langfristige Unterstützung des Themas
in der Region

Electric mobility in Saxony
Sächsische Energieagentur – SAENA GmbH
is the competence centre for all issues concerning
energy efficiency and renewable energy.
As company of the Free State of Saxony,
SAENA works independently and acts as central
contact for Saxon companies, municipalities
and private citizens. Since 2009 the coordination
of the programme “Electric mobility
in pilot regions” in Saxony is also one of the
roles of the company, where they act as central
project office for the region.
In January 2011 the State Ministry of the Economy,
Employment and Transport of Saxony
commissioned SAENA with the formation and
operation of a competence centre for electric
mobility. This was intended to achieve the
objectives of the state from the Saxon coalition
agreement of 2009, establish Saxony as a
pioneer in modern transport technology, and
increase the strength of the local economy.
Because of the success of the joint-application
with Bavaria for the showcase region electric
mobility, SAENA has been coordinating the
showcase Bavaria-Saxony ELECTRIC MOBILITY
CONNECTS since April 2012. In this capacity the
following range of responsibilities are covered:
· The networking of science, industry,
municipal institutions and users on
a regional level
· The orientation of development projects
to specifications and objectives of the
federal government and the sustainability
strategy of the Free State of Saxony
· Support for project partners in preparing
concepts for project applications and
in the implementation of funding plans
· The formation and maintenance
of networks
· Information for the general public
in Saxony
· Long-term support for the subject
in the region
