Das ICM e.V. ist als private und industrienahe
Forschungseinrichtung maßgeblich an
realisierten Innovationsleistungen im Maschinen-
und Anlagenbau beteiligt. In Kooperation
mit dem ICM e.V. können kleine und
mittelständische Unternehmen Problemstellungen
gemeinsam aufgreifen und Lösungen
erarbeiten. Das ICM e.V. leistet dabei sowohl
als Forschungs- und Entwicklungspartner
als auch im Rahmen der Projektkoordination
einen wichtigen Beitrag.
Das am ICM angesiedelte ZIM-Nemo-Netzwerk
Innvelo entwickelt neue Ansätze, um
innerstädtisch mobil zu sein. Kernidee ist der
Einsatz von Elektrofahrzeugen, die je nach Anwendungsfall
speziell ausgerichtet sind. Der
abgebildete Elektroroller Innvelo® Two ist ein
Produkt des Netzwerks Innvelo. Er ist für den
Einsatz in Stadtzentren und zentrumsnahen
Bereichen konzipiert. Junges Design und die
Verwendung technisch hochwertiger Komponenten
bieten viel Freude an umweltfreundlicher
Mobilität. Darüber hinaus wird bis Mitte
2014 das dreirädrige Elektrofahrzeug Innvelo®
Three entstehen, welches die Schnittstelle
zwischen zweirädrigen Elektrofahrzeugen und
Elektroautos bildet und versucht, die Vorteile
beider Varianten zu kombinieren.

As private, industry-oriented research organization,
the institute of mechanical and
plant engineering (ICM) in Chemnitz plays a
leading role in the development of successful
innovations in the areas of mechanical
and plant engineering. In cooperation with
the ICM, small and medium size enterprises
are able to take action in problem areas and
jointly develop solutions. The ICM makes an
important contribution both as partner for
research and development as well as in its
capacity as project coordinator.
The ZIM-NEMO-Network “Innvelo”, housed at
ICM, develops new approaches for mobility in
urban areas. The core idea is to use electric
vehicles which are specifically adapted to the
needs of different situations. The illustrated
electric scooter Innvelo® Two is a product of
the Innvelo network. It is constructed for use
in the city centre or areas nearby. A youthful
design and the use of high quality technical
components make for lots of fun in environmentally
friendly mobility. In addition to that,
the three-wheeled vehicle Innvelo® Three is
planned for completion in 2014. It represents
a transition between the two-wheeled electric
vehicle and e-cars, and is an attempt at
combining the advantages of both variants.
