that you feel comfortable.
I am very honoured and pleased to be with you here today to participate
in this important ceremony, a birthday ceremony of the birthday
of my friend Dr. Olms, and to convey to you the greetings and best
wishes of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad al-Qasimi,
the Ruler of Sharjah.
Well, I am going to talk a little bit about the friendship between Dr.
Olms and His Highness, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad al-Qasimi,
and I will also talk a bit more about my own interactions with Dr.
Olms in the last nine years.
I have known Dr. Olms personally since 2004. Dr. Olms and His
Highness share a lot of hobbies, a lot of interests. I think the first one
of them is the interest and the fascination for the Asil Arabian Horses.
His Highness has a fantastic stable for Asil Arabian horses, Dr.
Olms of course also has fantastic stables and rare Asil Arabian horses,
and Dr. Olms visited Sharjah among other Arabic countries. He
has been breeding Asil Arabian horses for many years before I got to
know him. But the friendship was established a long time ago and the
interest in the high quality of Arabian Horses is very much present
