Im einzigartigen Ambiente des Schönbrunner Schlossparks findet am 29. Mai bei<br />
freiem Eintritt das alljährliche Sommernachtskonzert Schönbrunn der Wiener<br />
Philharmoniker statt. Die Leitung des Open-Air-Konzerts übernimmt Christoph<br />
Eschenbach, Solist ist Lang Lang. Mit diesem Gratiskonzert wollen die Wiener<br />
Philharmoniker den Wienern und Gästen der Stadt ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis<br />

Summer Night’s Concert by the Vienna Philharmonic is to be held in the unique<br />
ambience of Schönbrunn Schlosspark on 29 May, with entrance to the performance<br />
free of charge. Artistic director of the open-air concert will be Christoph Eschenbach,<br />
and the soloist Lang Lang. The Vienna Philharmonic is seeking to offer the Viennese<br />
and guests of the city a very special experience with the free concert. Alternative date<br />

AN MEINE VÖLKER!<br />
2014 jährt sich der Ausbruch des Ersten Weltkriegs zum 100sten Mal. Die<br />
Österreichische Nationalbibliothek erinnert mit der großen Ausstellung „An Meine<br />
Völker! Der Erste Weltkrieg 1914-1918“ (bis 2. November) an das Schlüsselereignis<br />
des 20. Jahrhunderts. Vom Attentat auf den Thronfolger Franz Ferdinand bis zum<br />
Völkermanifest Kaiser Karls werden in der Schau die wichtigsten Stationen erlebbar.<br />
Zu sehen sind rund 250 Exponate.<br />

Die Schau „Druckfrisch“ (13. Juni bis 26. Oktober) im Tiroler Landesmuseum<br />
Ferdinandeum dokumentiert u. a. anhand hochwertiger Druckerzeugnisse die<br />
Geschichte des Buchdrucks in Tirol. Gleichzeitig wird die Gegenwart unter dem Aspekt<br />
der Informationsvermittlung im Alltag beleuchtet.<br />
