Fields of applications<br />
<strong>Hot</strong>-<strong>dip</strong> galvanized <strong>sheet</strong> is used:<br />
• in the automotive industry for outer<br />
and inner parts and components,<br />
• in the building industry for insulation<br />
and trapezoidal <strong>sheet</strong>s (roof and wall)<br />
and for a wide range of components<br />
(ventilation ducts, pipe insulation, roof<br />
drainage systems, ceiling elements,<br />
doors, gates, shelf and rack constructions),<br />
• in plant engineering as construction<br />
elements and casings for machines<br />
and installations,<br />
• as substrate for organic coatings by<br />
means of the coil-coating process,<br />
especially for the above-mentioned<br />
roof and wall elements in the building<br />
industry and for casings for household<br />
appliances (so-called white goods).<br />
<strong>Hot</strong>-<strong>dip</strong> galvanized <strong>sheet</strong> Galvannealed<br />
is used almost exclusively in the automotive<br />
industry for outer and inner<br />
applications and for components.<br />
<strong>Hot</strong>-<strong>dip</strong> galvanized narrow strip is used<br />
where the edges have to be galvanized:<br />
for supports, load-carrying elements in<br />
plant engineering, for earthing straps<br />
and underground cable casings.<br />
