“Steam Tower”. The porcelain food steamer set keeps all the benefits of the Asian method of
optimum retention of vitamins and natural taste; at the same time its innovative
design is also extremely hygienic and user-friendly. Simply place it over
water on the cooker. The steam circulates through the porcelain
inserts, ensuring a “caring”, gentle preparation; it is taste-neutral so

iittala – überraschende Weihnachten
Nordisches Design besitzt enge Verbindungen zu Handwerkskunst und lokalen Traditionen.
So präsentiert etwa iittala in seiner aktuellen Kollektion das jahrhundertealte „Himmeli-
Design“ auf einem Service. Der finnische Illustrator Pietari Posti gestaltet das traditionelle
finnische Weihnachtssymbol auf überraschende Weise. Man sieht und fühlt Weihnachten auf
eine Art, „die universell und für jeden erkennbar ist – egal, aus welchem Land man kommt“.
Die Serie ist in Weiß und Grau erhältlich. Dazu gibt es passende Servietten in zwei Größen
sowie Christbaumkugeln – ein echtes Must-have. Außerdem sind ausgewählte Produkte verschiedener
Serien in Rot erhältlich.
iittala – Christmas Surprises
Nordic Design has close connections with handicrafts
and local traditions. In its current collection, for
example, iittala now presents the centuries-old
“Himmeli” design on a table service. The Finnish
illustrator Pietari Posti designs the traditional Finnish
Christmas symbol in a truly surprising way. One sees
and feels Christmas in a way “that can be identified universally
and by everyone – regardless of what country
you are from”. The series is available in white and grey,
with matching serviettes in two sizes and Christmas tree
balls – simply a real “must-have”. Selected products from
different series are also available in red.
