1.5 Function variantsThe functions of the emergency exit control unitcan be varied by means of several rotary and slideswitches on the main circuit board and so adjusted inline with the relevant application.1.5.1 Temporary releaseThe duration of the temporary release can be setbetween 11 and 176 seconds in 11-second steps.The temporary release actuated with the keyoperatedswitch in the door terminal or the terminalmodule can also be switched off completely.(However, temporary release using the external keysis always still possible.)1.5.2 Permanent unlockingPermanent unlocking via the key-operated switchintegrated in the door terminal or the terminal modulecan be switched off.For special applications, in which you wish toprevent unintentional initiation of a permanent releasestatus, it is possible to activate a delayed acceptanceof the command. In this case, the command is onlyaccepted when the key is held for longer than 5seconds in the left-hand switching position or therelevant key of a central control panel 725 (ifconnected) is actuated for longer than 5 seconds.1.5.3 Pre-alarmThe "pre-alarm" function can be switched off. Theduration of the pre-alarm can be set between 4 and64 seconds.1.5.4 AlarmThe acoustic signalling of an alarm by the buzzerintegrated in the door terminal / terminal module canbe deactivated in cases where alarms are triggeredcentrally. With central release and externalemergency unlocking (e.g. fire alarm control centre),no acoustic signal is then given off at the individualdoor.The alarm causes "Emergency button", "Smokedetector line" and "Sabotage" are, however, alwaysalso signalled acoustically in the door terminal andterminal module.1.5.5 Alarm timeThe acoustic alarm signal has a time limit. Thiscan be set to a value between 11 and 176 seconds.All function and time settings at the control unit may only be performed by suitably trained or qualifiedstaff!53
