1.6 Special function I: Systems with indirect release. The Emergency Exit Control Unit720-32The 720-32 variant of the emergency exit control unit is a non-standard version for cases in which emergencyexits have to be released from a central location. It contains a special security relay circuit which offers the requireddegree of security for this function, also for release of several doors from a central location.All other functions of the emergency exit control unit 720-32 are identical with those of the control unit 720-30.This type of system is used primarily for special projects in which it is not possible to install an emergency buttonat the individual doors. As a rule, the central location from which the door release function is initiated must bepermanently manned.The operator terminal 1332-10 (Fig. 3) or the flush-mounting version 1322-11 is used as a switching and displayunit at the door. The switching and display functions of these devices - with the exception of the missing emergencybutton - are identical to those of the door terminal and the terminal module.Central EMERGENCY OPEN functionAlarm resetWith the central emergency open function, doors arereleased from a location which is not in the immediatevicinity of the affected doors. Generally this is acentral control and monitoring panel with anemergency button which releases all the closedlocking mechanisms when actuated.The alarm must be reset ateach individual door, evenwhere a central releasesystem is used.For this, initially theemergency button of theEMERGENCY OPENmodule in the control panelmust be pulled out again. Ifthe emergency button is stilllocked in the actuatedposition, it is still possible toacknowledge the alarm at any time by switching offthe acoustic signal, but not to reset the system.Switching off the acoustic alarm signalIn the emergency exit control device, it is possibleto switch off the acoustic signalling of a centrallyinitiated alarm at the door if it is not required.725 NAM-01!
