Knoten Synchronisation
Synchronisation of the nodes in production
and logistics networks
Production and logistics networks are
characterised by non-linearities due to
the coupling of their subsystems. Hence,
traditional methods of system and control
theory are no longer applicable. Models
of such networks will now be analysed
with the methods of non-linear dynamics.
Especially, the applicability of existing
synchronisation theories will be investigated.
If necessary, these theories will be
extended by new, adapted methods,
that allow the synchronsiation of the
subsystems in production and logistics
networks.
LAYER TOOL
Rapid Manufacturing of Massive
Metal Forming Tools an Dies for Casting
in Layers
The project was partly financed by the
European Commission in the CRAFT programme
and dealed with the exploration
of possibilities to produce large, massive
mettallic moulding tools by using several
layers which are welded and milled.
MOBIKO
Mobile Cooperation in Construction
through Wireless Communication
Techniques
MOBIKO developed and demonstrated
mobile services for the construction
sector. Aim was to support mobile cooperation
through the application of wireless
communication techniques on construction
sites.
Paket Roboter
A robot system for the automated unloading
of packaged goods from swaptrailers
or containers was developed in
cooperation with Deutsche Post AG and
EADS Space Transportation. Optimisation
of logistics processes is the long-term
objective of the project. The functional
prototyp was implemented and enhanced
at the HUB Bremen, Deutsche Post
AG. (s. page 18-19)
Modelling of coherent scattered
light measuring processes for
deterministic nano-structures and
stochastic surface defects in the
micrometer range
The aim of this project is to specify the
analytical correlation between scattering
light effects and topographical characteristics
of micro systems and nanostructures
by the examination of analytical
models. For this purpose, suitable virtual
surface patterns and scattered light
models as well as evaluation algorithms
are developed and combined in order
to simulate measuring processes. The
research results provide the basis for examining
nanostructured microcomponents
within a continuous manufacturing process.
This means a laminar, contactless
and sufficiently fast measurement with
real-time monitoring will be possible.
MOMENT
The Mobile Extended Manufacturing
Enterprise
The main achievement of MOMENT was a
methodology to support rapid establishment
and efficient operations of new
Extended Manufacturing Enterprises in
the European automotive and electronics
supplier industry. The methodology
consists of methods, models, and tools
that can be customised to local industrial
conditions anywhere in Europe.
NET-S
Marine Engineering in Networks
(Structure, Organisation, Information)
NET-S has analysed the organisation and
data structures of working consortia in the
maritime industry in order to define models
for the exchange of product data.
Thus, within the NET-S project a practical
product data model was developed
that supports a speedy and easy data
exchange between the network partners
via a information and communication
platform. (s. page 14-15)
OPAK
Optimized Packing Logistics in the
Life Cycle Economy
OPAK was a project with a focus on the
optimisation of the redistribution of plastic
materials for recycling processes. With
the RFID-system technology and the optimisation
of available technological infrastructures,
it was planned to improve the
logistic process units of those materials.
PHORA
The main objective of this project was the
construction of two automatic photo-thermal
test control units: one for rotationsymmetrically
objects and one for objects
with complex geometry. Intended was
the testing of products of the medicine
technology and the production engineering.
In particular the damage examination
(fissures) in ceramic construction
units (implants, dental technology and
ceramic bearings) as well as the testing
of fissures, hardening depths and burning
at antifriction bearings and bearing components
are planned to be analysed.
