Umweltzone Köln: Zufahrt zur Koelnmesse
Cologne’s Low Emission Zone:
access routes to Koelnmesse
Seit dem 01.01.2008 ist die Kölner Innenstadt Umweltzone, in die nur
noch Fahrzeuge der Schadstoffgruppen 2 bis 4, die entsprechende Plaketten
tragen, einfahren dürfen (www.stadt-koeln.de). Die Zufahrt zur Koelnmesse
ist fur alle Fahrzeuge auch ohne Plakette gesichert. Die Zu- und
Abfahrtswege gehen aus der Grafik hervor.
Eine direkte Weiterfahrt außerhalb dieser Routenbeispielsweise in die
Kölner Innenstadt ist nur noch mit entsprechend gekennzeichneten Fahrzeugen
gestattet. Messeteilnehmer aus dem In- und Ausland mit entsprechend
ausgerusteten Fahrzeugen erhalten die Plakette, die Ihnen die
Einfahrt in die Umweltzone erlaubt, unter www.umwelt-plakette.de.
Effective 1st January 2008, Cologne’s downtown area was declared an
“low emission zone”. This means that only vehicles with one of the stickers
for Emissions Groups 2 to 4 are allowed to enter the downtown area
(www.stadt-koeln.de). The Koelnmesse exhibition centre will remain accessible
for all types of vehicles, even if they do not bear one of the aforementioned
stickers. The graphic shows all of the routes for driving to and from
the exhibition centre.
However, only vehicles that bear the pertinent sticker will be allowed to
drive outside of these routes (to get to downtown Cologne, for example).
Trade fair visitors from Germany and abroad who wish to come to Cologne
in an appropriately equipped vehicle will receive a sticker that allows
hem to drive into the environmental zone after applying at
www.umwelt-plakette.de.
