1. The rafters for the attic vault are cut from 22mm<br />
three-layer boards<br />
2. The s<strong>of</strong>fit <strong>of</strong> the ro<strong>of</strong> is clad with Agepan boards<br />
(DWD) to make it rain and wind pro<strong>of</strong><br />
3. The vaulted rafters overlap approximately 40cm in<br />
the middle on top, where they meet<br />
4. The rafters are mounted at 80cm intervals<br />
5. Infilled with 36cm straw bales<br />
6. The straw bale walls are trimmed using a hedge<br />
trimmer<br />
7. Pre-sprayed with clay slip<br />
8. Plastered with COB (by hand) and clay spray plaster<br />
9. The old beams are cleaned and oiled<br />
10. A (clay) bottle wall is created for exposure<br />
11. The vault creates a unique ambience<br />
