Economic Literacy<br />

3 Semester Hours<br />

Overview of microeconomics and macroeconomics,<br />

including supply and demand, theory of production and<br />

cost, competition, monopoly, inflation, unemployment,<br />

and government money and spending policy. Some<br />

attention may be given to issues of the history of<br />

economic ideas and economic history. Not intended for<br />

economics or business majors.
