After reviewing GRMN 101 and 102, more complex<br />

linguistic patterns are introduced including conjunctions<br />

with their corresponding word order, the simple past, the<br />

subjunctive form, reflexive pronouns, the genitive case,<br />

and the passive voice.<br />

Intermediate German II<br />

3 Semester Hours<br />

A course designed to review elementary grammar as well<br />

as to develop further oral competence, with a stronger<br />

emphasis on reading and writing. Short texts provide the<br />

springboard for the promotion of vocabulary acquisition,<br />

comprehension, and the active use of oral and written<br />

German.<br />
