Junior curling<br />
We always have space in our <strong>Winter</strong> Session for Lite Rock<br />
curlers. Children use our full-sized lightweight curling stones.<br />
Helmets are mandatory for Lite Rockers along with warm<br />
clothing and clean, rubber-soled shoes.<br />

This is your chance to get started in curling! Our popular<br />
Novice Curling League is designed to give adult curlers a<br />
chance to get their feet wet with people of the same skill<br />
level. Enter as individuals for this 6-week program that<br />
combines instruction and game play. Past participants and all<br />
other curlers are welcome.<br />
curling birthday partiEs<br />
If you’re looking for a fun and unique birthday party idea<br />
curling is the answer! All ages can enjoy an hour of fun,<br />
planned games and learn about our fun and slippery sport. An<br />
instructor is provided for a fee of $45. Food and beverage can<br />

Jam can bonspiEl<br />
February 25<br />
The CWC will once again host the annual CYCA Jam Can<br />
Lite Rock Bonspiel for 7 - 11 year olds. Register your teams<br />
with Kim in the Curling Office. This is an open event so any<br />
combination of genders is acceptable. All participants receive<br />
a medal. See Kim if you would like to volunteer to assist with<br />
this event.<br />
playdown Entry dEadlinEs<br />
Get your entry in now for District Playdowns. Entry forms<br />
are available on league bulletin boards or online at<br />
www.saca.ca. Entry form and payment must reach the SACA<br />
office before the close of business (usually 3:30 pm) on the<br />
date indicated.<br />

The Toonie Tweak is back and better than ever. Over the summer<br />
this fantastic program even received an award from the<br />
NACAD. It was chosen as New Program of the Year!<br />
Attention to Detail<br />
January 13 th | 6:00 - 6:30 pm | $2 per person<br />
January’s Toonie Tweak Day is Attention to Detail. We will<br />
look at our deliveries and the deliveries of others to develop<br />
better skills of our own and to hone our ability to detect and<br />
correct with others.<br />
line Call<br />
February 17 th | 6:00 - 6:30 pm | $2 per person<br />
February’s Toonie Tweak Day is Line Call and will focus on,<br />
big shock here, line call! If you struggle with this vital skill<br />
this is the class for you. Learn how to help your team make<br />
more shots by judging line-call better!<br />
Register for either class on GameTime for only a Toonie per<br />
person, per class.<br />

If you are interested in assisting with our junior program or<br />
with the instruction of schools we would love to have you. All<br />
you need is a basic knowledge of the sport. We provide<br />
training and work with you to ensure your comfort. Please<br />
