Weston-Super-Mare is situated in a sheltered bay at the<br />
foot of the Mendip Hills with views across the Bristol<br />
Channel to South Wales. There are many charming<br />
Victorian and Edwardian terraces interspersed with<br />
colourful parks and gardens providing fascinating walks<br />
from the delightful rocky point and woods at Anchor<br />
Head to the sandy beaches at the southern end of the resort. Weston<br />
offers many attractions including the Sea Life centre, a delightful<br />
miniature railway and a helicopter museum. The sheltered bay is ideal<br />
for water sports and there is a choice of several boat trips. Excellent dry<br />
sports facilities include ten pin bowling, golf and bowls. At night there are<br />
numerous attractions including top class cabaret at the Playhouse and<br />
dancing at the famous Winter Gardens.<br />
