This tour offers some of the very best of Ireland’s vigorous
and awe-inspiring natural beauty, with Mayo’s breathtaking
coastlines and spectacular mountains. The popular town
of Westport lies in the shadow of mountainous Croagh
Patrick, a place of pilgrimage for centuries, offering superb views of
Clew Bay. Westport is a well developed tourist town with a wealth of
attractions including golf, fishing, museums, bars and cafés.
Holiday Itinerary
Sunday North West - Holyhead -
Dublin. For our overnight stay at the
Ardmore Hotel on the outskirts
of Dublin.
Monday Dublin - Strokestown Park
House - Westport We travel across the
Emerald Isle, stopping at the stately 18th
Strokestown Park House for a look around
(included in the tour cost) before
continuing to Westport.
Tuesday Full Day to Connemara.
The rugged Twelve Pins mountain range
dominate the Connemara National Park.
We visit Kylemore Abbey (entrance not
included), often regarded as one of
Ireland’s most romantic buildings, and

Westport
Situated in the town centre of
beautiful Westport, the Mill Times
Hotel offers an ideal holiday base.
The hotel has an old world charm

Thursday Full Day to Knock and
Galway. We have a short stop at
the pilgrimage town of Knock before
continuing travel south past the
spectacular mountains of Mayo to
the exuberance of Galway City.
Friday Westport - Dublin. To the capital
for our overnight stay at the Ardmore
Hotel, Dublin .
Saturday Dublin - Holyhead -
Burtonwood - Home.

- Monaghan. For our overnight stay at

Monday Northern Ireland - Belfast -
Derry. We cross the border into the north
and take a brief look at Belfast on our
way to Derry.
Tuesday Full Day to Donegal. Donegal
lies across the border into the Republic
where the River Eske flows into the
Atlantic. Its recently restored castle was
originally built in the 15th century. There
is also a craft village, the home of
Magee’s, the famous tweed makers.

Londonderry
The only hotel located within the old
city walls. Close to the shopping
malls and fascinating Tower Museum.
The Lime Tree Bar serves snacks
during the day and is a popular venue
in the evenings. The Walls Bar and
Restaurant offers a varied menu
waiter-served at dinner and generous
buffet breakfasts. The top floor fitness
suite offers a gym and sauna free to
guests. Each of the 90 bedrooms

fast flowing River Foyle. The old city on the river’s western
bank is the only completely walled city in Ireland. Its 17th
century walls are the most visible sign of a turbulent 1500
years of history and a stroll along the walls allows a panoramic view of
the city. There are also plenty of interesting museums to visit.
Wednesday At leisure in Derry.
Thursday Full Day to Giant’s
Causeway. We travel along the beautiful
Foyle estuary via the lovely coastal towns
of Portstewart and Portrush on our way
to see this geological wonder of the
world. Returning via Bushmills, home
of the world’s oldest whiskey distillery.
Friday Derry - Dublin. Overnight at the
Regency Hotel , on the outskirts
of Dublin
Saturday Dublin - Holyhead -
