Excursions Included
Full Day to the Isle of Skye. A scenic journey takes
us along Loch Lochy, then past the Five Sisters of
Kintail to the much photographed Eilean Donan Castle.
We continue to Kyle of Lochalsh and then accross to
Skye with a short tour of this enchanting Island.
Full Day to Oban. Oban is the principal town on the
west coast and the port for many of the ferry services
to the Hebridean Islands. It has a lively harbour and
many shops and restaurants.

Situated in an isolated position on the shores of
Loche Linnhe with spectacular views across the
loch from all of the public rooms and most of the
bedrooms, the Croit Anna offers a comfortable and

are ideally placed for the splendours of the
Scottish scenery.
Excursions Included
Full Day to Royal Deeside & Balmoral. We travel
east to Balmoral Castle, pausing at Crathie Church
(entrance to Balmoral is included in the tour cost
when the castle is open which is April-July only).
Full Day to Blairgowrie and Glamis. Today we pass
over Glenshee to the Perthshire holiday town of
Blairgowrie. We continue to Glamis Castle, family seat
of the Queen Mother and macabre setting for
Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’ (entrance included in the
tour cost).
Fife Arms Hotel
Braemar
Set in lovely Braemar village, famous for the annual
Highland Gathering, the Fife Arms, originally the Duke
of Fife’s hunting lodge, is on the banks of Clunic
Water which runs into the River Dee. This impressive
hotel has a large open lounge with a coffee shop, a
residents’ bar and separate public bar. The restaurant
has lovely views and offers an excellent menu.
Entertainment is nightly. The 78 bedrooms have
mostly rural views with bath, shower and WC, TV
and tea/coffee making facilities.

Carrbridge nestles in the very
heart of the Highlands in the
beautiful Spey Valley. There are
numerous attractions in the
village including the Landmark Forestry
Heritage and Adventure Park with its wild water
coaster, steam powered saw mill and tree top
trail, a pony trekking centre, challenging nine
hole golf course and bowling green.
Excursions Included
Full Day to Inverness and Loch Ness. Known as
the “Capital of the Highlands”, Inverness with its
magnificent castle, stands astride the River Ness. We
also journey further south to the mysterious waters of
Loch Ness and the Visitor Centre at Drumnadrochit
(entrance not included).
Full Day to the Spey Valley. A day to delight the
tastebuds as we journey down the lovely Spey Valley,
stopping at the renowned Glenlivet Distillery. We
continue to the mouth of the Spey to visit the famous
Baxters foods, where we have a short demonstration.

This traditional family owned hotel is situated on the
banks of the River Dulnain in the heart of the
highlands. Recently refurbished, it has a Highland
Suite Dining Room, Lairds bar, Old Bridge a la carte
restaurant. The lift serves most of the 67 bedrooms,
all of which have bath/shower and WC, TV,
telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. A varied
entertainment programme includes the popular
