Based in the ski-ing resort of St. Anton am Arlberg amid some of the most
glorious mountain scenery in Europe. In summer the green slopes are a
carpet of flowers and a paradise for walkers. The less energetic may
prefer to take the cable car! Enjoy the brass bands and explore the pretty
streets of the village centre, lined with shops and bars.
Holiday Itinerary
Wednesday North West - Dover -
Calais - Lille. Arriving at our hotel for an
overnight stay (Dinner is not included on
day 1).
Thursday Namur - Luxembourg -
Kehl/Kork. Through the Ardennes and
Luxembourg to Kehl/Kork, near
Strasbourg on the German side of the
Rhine for our overnight stay.
Friday Zurich - Bludenz - Arlberg -
St. Anton. We travel via Zurich to the
shores of Lake Constance before
continuing to St. Anton in time for dinner.
Saturday - Tuesday In St. Anton.
EXCURSIONS INCLUDED
Full Day to Innsbruck. Capital of the
Tyrol, with its Golden Roof, Imperial
church and Palace. Guided tour
included in the tour cost.

This first class hotel is situated in the
heart of St. Anton. The comfortable
bedrooms are luxuriously equipped
with private bath or shower and WC,
telephone, hair dryer, radio, safe and
cable TV. There is a spacious bar
lounge, indoor heated swimming
pool, sauna, solarium, steam room
and a whirlpool spa bath (steam
room/sauna open twice weekly).
Meals are excellent three course set
menus with a choice of main course
(no choice on arrival day), breakfast
buffet, salad bar and welcome drink
on arrival. There is a weekly Farmers
Buffet. The lift serves all floors.

Full Day to Bavaria. A lovely scenic
drive with a guide into southern
Germany passing the fairytale castles of
Neuschwanstein and Linderhof and with
a short stop in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Wednesday St Anton - Lake
Constance- Kehl-Kork. We travel via
Bregenz and Lindau, on Lake Constance,
into Germany and the Black Forest to
arrive at Kehl-Kork for dinner and our
overnight stay.
Thursday Kehl-Kork - Reims - Lille area.
We travel via Strasbourg to Nancy and
into the Champagne growing area,
pausing at Reims before continuing to
our overnight in Northern France.
Friday Calais - Dover - Home. Via our
Interchange where we re-join the feeder
coaches.

Limousin - Brive. We continue past Paris
and down the Western side of France to
Brive-la-Gaillarde in the Limousin area for
our overnight stay.
Wednesday Dordogne - Cahors -
Carcassonne - Malgrat de Mar. On
in the direction of Toulouse, past the
spectacular medieval walled town of
Carcassonne and across the border into
Spain to the resort of Malgrat de Mar.
Thursday - Tuesday In Malgrat de Mar.
EXCURSIONS INCLUDED
Half Day to Tossa de Mar. Once a small
fishing village but now a popular beach
resort. Visit the walled old town ‘Vila
Vella’ the only remaining medieval town
on the Catalan coast or take a stroll round
the Municipal Museum which houses a
contemporary art collection and artefacts
Hotel Papi
Malgrat de Mar
Close by to the shops and expansive
sandy beach of Malgrat de Mar, the
Hotel Papi is an ideal resort base on
the Costa Brava. After a refurbishment
in 2010 the hotel boasts a modern
air-conditioned lounge and bar with
an extensive outside terrace. The
swimming pool is flanked by ample
sunbeds and regular entertainment is
provided two or three nights a week.
Dining is all self-service with an
excellent selection of salads, meats,
fish, pasta and desserts to choose
from. The 231 bedrooms are on 6
floors, served by three lifts and each
has bath/shower & WC, balcony,
direct dial telephone, and TV. Please

Full Day to Barcelona. We have a guided
sightseeing tour of this fascinating city
followed by time to explore. Visit Gaudi’s
Sagrada Familia, the mysterious Gothic
Cathedral, the amiable bustle of Las
Ramblas or the Picasso Museum.
Full Day to Montserrat. We have a
guided sightseeing tour into the
mountains, to the home of the famous
‘Black Virgin’ and one of the holiest sites
in Spain. Take the little train to the hilltop
Monastery to enjoy spectacular views of
the surrounding countryside (train cost
not included).
Wednesday Malgrat - Rhone Valley -
Macon. Taking an entirely different route
to the outward journey, we head north
east to the Rhone Valley and on to Macon
and Paray-le-Monial for our overnight stay.
Thursday Burgundy - Paris - Lille area.
Our journey today takes us to our overnight
stay near Lille in French Flanders.
Friday Calais - Dover - Home. Via
Burtonwood Interchange where we rejoin
the feeder coaches.

Neuschwanstein
Malgrat de Mar is ideally placed in the centre of the Costa Brava with a
rail link to nearby Barcelona. It is largely flat with a small hill, site of the
original medieval settlement. The gently sloping beaches are a mixture of
sand and shingle. Malgrat is a busy resort with plenty to do, suitable for
all age groups with bars, shops, and cafés providing shade from the
Mediterranean sunshine. Nightlife is lively without being raucous and
noted for its warm welcome to British visitors. There is a market every
week and this is well worth a visit for the local atmosphere.
