With traditional seaside and loch side locations
throughout the UK and a range of appealing destinations in
Western Europe, your group really will be spoilt for choice.
All of the holidays in this brochure are available for
booking by groups of any size and your group will always
get the best value by booking one of our
advertised tours because we bulk-buy
the space and pass the savings on
to you. We can tailor most
itineraries to your
requirements, for example by
adding extra excursions or
omitting entrance fees.
Our generous discounts
provide the 21st, 31st,
41st and 51st passenger
travelling absolutely free
of charge on all advertised
holidays.
We also offer special joining
arrangements for groups of 20
or more people and, providing
there is a minimum of 40 persons in
the party, groups are automatically
given sole use of the coach which means that
your party will travel direct to your chosen destination
without having to travel via an interchange point. For most
organisers this is one of the key benefits of booking a
group departure. If your group is not large enough to take
a whole coach, we can assist with special pick up
arrangements and booking seats together on one of our
scheduled departures. Our Direct Join holidays are
especially suitable for part groups and the joining points
can normally be adjusted to your requirements.

Over the years our Groups Team has organised a huge
range of tailor made holidays for groups. We are always
delighted to discuss the possibilities with you and share
ideas with those of you looking for something a little
bit different.
We have particular expertise in organising special interest
tours including Gardens & Stately Homes, Heritage
Railways and other British Heritage Breaks. We
can also offer packages to include dancing
and various sports - with bowling being
a particular favourite since most of
our own hotels are in close
proximity to established bowling
greens.

ideally placed as a base for
walking holidays. Whether your
party would like to walk the
coastal paths of Devon and
Cornwall, enjoy the delights of the Lake
District, the Dales or North York Moors or
undertake something a little more strenuous in
Snowdonia, the Cairngorms or West of Scotland, our
Groups Department will be delighted to assist.

Sparkle”
Weekends for
Groups…
Special weekends with a
Festive Flavour are available to
Group Organisers and travel agents
throughout November and December. Our “Festive
Sparkle” weekends depart on a Friday and return on
Monday and include 3 nights’ dinner, room and full
British breakfast with festive Christmas menus,
Sunday lunch, entertainment on two evenings plus a
full day shopping excursion on Saturday. All this for
just £129 (2011) or £134 (2012)!
Festive Sparkle weekends operate at a selection of
our hotels including Weston Super Mare, Torquay,
Exmouth, Bournemouth, Bognor Regis, Eastbourne,
Cromer, Llandudno, Criccieth, Porthcawl and Dunoon.
Celebrate in Style on an
Alfa Party Night …
Our Alfa Party Nights are part of our Direct Join
programme (see page 79) and are ideal for groups of
any size. They operate at Llandudno and Scarborough
and are ideal for a get-together in the run up to
Christmas. We include coach travel, a welcome drink
before dinner, traditional Christmas dinner with all the
trimmings, dancing and entertainment, overnight
accommodation for one night and late breakfast
brunch before returning home.
At just £50 (2011) or £52 (2012), our Party Nights are
incredible value and are hugely popular with group
organisers, so it’s advisable to book early.
