Lille. Arriving in Lille for an over night<br />
stay (Dinner is not included on day 1).<br />
Tuesday Lille - Reims - Metz - Nancy -<br />
Mulhouse. Through the Champagne<br />
region, Lorraine and Alsace to Mulhouse<br />
for our overnight stay.<br />
Wednesday Basel - Lucerne - Gotthard<br />
Pass - Como - Milan - Garda. A long and<br />
spectacular day’s journey takes us<br />
through the Alps to Lake Garda.<br />
Hotel Internazionale<br />
Torri del Benaco<br />
This excellent hotel is situated<br />
approximately 20 minutes walk from<br />
the centre of Torri and next to Lake<br />
Garda (from which it is separated by<br />
a road). The hotel consists of a main<br />
building (with lift) and two further<br />
blocks (without lifts). Spacious rooms<br />
with bath and WC, telephone,<br />
satellite TV and minibar; most also<br />
with balcony. There is a swimming<br />
pool, terrace, garden, bar and<br />
restaurant with waiter-served meals<br />
and salad buffet. Entertainment<br />

Full Day to Venice. Explore this unique<br />
city with its romantic canals. (Please<br />
note: we recommend use of the optional<br />
water taxi from the coach park to the<br />
Grand Canal at an extra charge payable<br />
in Venice.)<br />
Full Day to Verona. A relatively short<br />
journey to Verona with its superbly<br />
maintained Roman arena, magnificent<br />
Gothic architecture. Guided tour<br />
included in the tour cost.<br />
Full Day to Southern Lake Garda. We<br />
travel south to Desenzano and Sirmione,<br />
at the fashionable southern end of the<br />
lake. There is time to explore Sirmione<br />
with its landmark castle before returning<br />
via Garda town.<br />
Wednesday Milan - Gotthard Pass -<br />
Lake Lucerne - Basel - Mulhouse.<br />
Into the Alps and over the spectacular<br />
Gotthard Pass and on to Mulhouse for<br />
the night.<br />
Thursday Kehl-Kork - Metz -<br />
Luxembourg - Ardennes - Lille.<br />
Friday Calais - Dover - Home.<br />
Please note: on some departures the<br />
journey to Lake Garda is operated in<br />
reverse, travelling outward via Kehl-Kork<br />
and returning via Mulhouse.<br />
