Maulana Mahmood Madani, a leading <strong>Islamic</strong> scholar and<br />
politician in India, has gained influence for his forthright<br />
condemnations of terrorism and unfaltering support of <strong>the</strong><br />

Madani has served as secretary general of <strong>the</strong> Jamiat Ulemae-Hind,<br />
