9.2 TDRSS Trouble Report 9.2.1 Purpose This procedure describes the generation and dissemination of TTRs. 9.2.2 Participants a. NCC PA. b. Code 450 SPTR Sustaining 9.2.3 Procedure 9.2.3.1 Generation The NCC PA will generate TDRS Trouble Reports (TTRs) for SPTR problems involving the TDRS-1 services and assign appropriate SN elements the action to resolve the anomalies. SPTR Sustaining (Code 450) may also be assigned to resolve problems associated with the South Pole. 9.2.3.2 Dissemination a. The PA will place all SPTR-related TTRs on the NCC Web Site at ftp://ncc.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/aattr. b. Daily, SPTR Sustaining will access the NCC STDN Daily Report (SDR) on the NCC Web site at ftp://ncc.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/sdr to monitor for SPTR TTRs and obtain SPTR TTR numbers. TTRs are briefly described under the SN Anomalies section with an accompanying TTR reference number. To obtain the full TTR report, SPTR Sustaining will access the TTR Web Site mentioned in 9.2.3.2a. c. Upon obtaining the SPTR TTR report(s), SPTR Sustaining will transfer the SPTR TTR information to the SPTR Web site for dissemination. a2302s9 9-3 532-OIP-NCC/SPTR
9.3 Discrepancy Reports 9.3.1 Purpose This procedure describes the method by which TDRSS related failures/problems are reported and tracked. 9.3.2 Participants a. WSC. b. NCC. c. Code 450 9.3.3 Procedure 9.3.3.1 TDRS and SPTR Unique Equipment Anomalies WSC will initiate a Discrepancy Report (DR) for problems/failures related to TDRSS. Problems related to SPTR unique equipment (i.e., TDI, WSFS, IFL, FOTS) will also be reported by DR. SPTR unique equipment at WSC will be fault isolated and maintained by WSC. WSC may request assistance from SPTR Sustaining (Code 450) via voice or by the SPTR collective e-mail for M&O. 9.3.3.2 WSC Internet Anomalies Problems/failures related to WSC Internet routers and the WSC NISN/NSI circuit used for SPTR is the responsibility of GSFC NISN. NISN will initiate troubleshooting and operations restoration via the COMMGR. WSC will send a DR to NCC for notification of problem. Troubleshooting of problem(s) may entail assistance from NISN (MSFC) and include the Malabar circuit interface for fault isolating NSI circuit problems.
