Save the resulting image. - When using the plug-in: Open the save file dialog File -> Save As in the graphics editor, type a file name, specify a file format and choose a folder, in which to save the file. - When using the standalone: Press and in the Save As dialog window, enter a name for the file, choose the format (TIFF, JPEG, BMP or PNG) and indicate the target folder. ¡ Step 10. IMPROVE DETAIL MODE In Improve Detail mode the program increases detail on an image, brings out details on one single shot by intensifying color transition. Enhancer strengthens the difference between adjacent pixels having different color gradations and therefore not only reveals details in shadows but even details in the overexposed and mid tone areas. Correction with Improve Detail mode Follow the instructions below to improve detail in shadows and in highlights: ¡ Step 1. Once this mode is selected the photo will be automatically processed with the last used parameter values (the first time - with the default values). The result will be shown in the After tab. ¡ Step 2. Adjust the value of the Preview Size parameter. AKVIS Enhancer The parameter Preview Size sets the image size at the preliminary processing stage and can have the following values: 1, ½, ¼, and ¹/8.
