A pregnant woman walks along a shore. It is a cloudy winter day and she is alone,<br />
playing with the foam of the sea waves. Suddenly her thoughts take her somewhere else: to an<br />
empty shore, across the sea.<br />
On the other shore, in ancient times, the fi rst couple rises from the sand. The man and the woman<br />
observe the beautiful, untouched nature and start to play with each other, enjoying their fi rst day<br />
on the empty shore.<br />
But as soon as the man starts to dominate the woman, her pure feelings are destroyed.<br />
“Shore” is a fi lm about the fragility of human relations, based on the ancient legend about Adam<br />
and Lilith.<br />

Born in1970 in Gomi, Georgia. From 1987 till 1992, he studied aircraft engineering<br />
at the Technical University in <strong>Tbilisi</strong>. Since 1993 he lives in The Netherlands. There he<br />
worked for the local television in Rotterdam and from 1999 till 2003 he was student<br />
in the directing class of the Netherlands <strong>Film</strong> and Television Academy.
