It is distinct from the latter especially in the indumentum, the wider (looser) venation, <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> in the scabridulous upper surface of the lamina. The species also shows affinities <strong>with</strong> C. sprucei <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> C. leprieurii. <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> allied species.
