INDENT Control<br />

Purpose:<br />

The INDENT control word allows the left side of the SCRIPT<br />

printout to be indented.<br />

Format:<br />

.IN n<br />

n specifies the number of spaces to be indented. If<br />

omitted, indentation reverts to the original margin.<br />

Usage:<br />

The .IN control word causes SCRIPT printout to be indented n<br />

spaces from the current left margin setting. This<br />

indentation remains in effect for all following lines<br />

(including new paragraph and pages), until another .IN<br />

control word is encountered. ·.IN O· cancels the<br />

indentation, and printout continues at the original left<br />

margin setting.<br />

Notes:<br />

a. The .IN request acts as a BREAK.<br />

h. The .IN request resets the effective left margin,<br />

causing any .OF setting to be cleared. The .OF request may<br />

be used alone, or in conjunction with .IN. When the latter<br />

is the case, .IN settings take precedence.<br />
