If no space follows a paragraph heading., and if the<br />

paragraphs are not indented, a BREAK is necessary in<br />

FORMAT mode, to keep the heading line from being justified.<br />

A few leading blanks are the easiest way to force<br />

a BREAK and separate paragraphs. A line with only a blank<br />

will also force a BREAK and a blank line, if the following<br />

line also begins with a blank, as follows:<br />

The CENTER control is handy for small figures<br />

included in the text. A .CE in front of each line of<br />

the figure is necessary" and note that leading or trailing<br />

blanks count for figuring the length to be centered:<br />
