ASSEMBLE
Purpose:
The ASSEMBLE command creates relocatable object programs
from programs written in System/360 Assembler Language.

The filetype SYSIN is assumed for all input files to the
ASSEMBLE command. The file must have fixed-length,
SO-character records. More than one assembly may be
performed by specifying additional filenames, separated by
blanks. Any number of files may be specified, but the
command must not exceed a single input line. Each file
