Online Medical Transcription
Become a Medical Transcriptionist through online learning.
Successful completion of this program can give you the potential
to make up to $40,000 per year working from home on your
own computer. The curriculum is approved by the Association
for Health-care Documentation Integrity (AHDI, formerly the
American Association of Medical Transcription or AAMT)
and was developed by Career Step.

Online Medical Coding and Billing
This highly-interactive online program will give you hands-on
experience in the same software many medical facilities use.
You will develop the knowledge and skills needed to meet
and exceed the requirements for both the American Health
Information Management Association (AHIMA) and American
Academy of Professional Coder (AAPC) certification exams.

Pharmacy Technician
The pharmacy technician field is a part of the growing health-care
industry as well as one of the 20 fastest growing occupations in the
nation. The Career Step Pharmacy Technician training program
will help you gain the knowledge and skills necessary to work in
both retail and institutional settings and to help you prepare for
national certification exams.

Medical Administrative Assistant
In less than three months, you can be prepared for a successful
career as a medical administrative assistant! Career Step’s
curriculum is certified by the National Healthcareer Association
and was developed by industry professionals with years of
experience. The program is specifically designed to prepare you
to pass the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)
exam and get a job right after graduation.
The Career Step Medical Administrative Assistant program
is broken into 18 modules. You’ll start each module by reviewing
a specific learning objective and then move on to various reading
assignments. These reading assignments have short quizzes,
interactive games, videos and images throughout to make it
more interesting and help you quickly learn the material.

These online, self-paced courses are available 24 hours/day, 7 days/
week. A laptop computer will be provided to each student for their
use during and after the completion of the course.
