Gloucester County College is pleased to offer a Certificate Program in Digital Photography. To earn the certificate, you must<br />
complete three core courses, one specialty course and two workshops. Upon completion of all of the certificate requirements,<br />

Digital Photography Made Easy<br />
The goal of this class is to help you<br />
understand the digital camera in more<br />
detail. Do you find yourself frustrated<br />
trying to understand and use your digital<br />
camera? Has it become an obstacle? Do<br />
you find yourself trying to figure out your<br />
camera every time you try to take a<br />
picture? Then this class is for you! You<br />
can’t take great pictures until you<br />
understand how your camera works. You<br />
will become more comfortable using your<br />
digital camera and will learn how to take<br />
more creative photos. This is a hands-on<br />
class, so bring your camera, owner’s<br />
manual, an extra battery and memory card.<br />

and friends, how to get post-card-looking<br />
landscape photos while on vacation and<br />
how to use some of the basic computer<br />
programs designed to help you with<br />
your photographic endeavors. This is<br />

Advanced Digital Photography<br />
The goal of this class is to make it easy for<br />
you to learn advanced digital photography<br />
techniques such as the advantages of using<br />
raw vs. jpeg, using external flash, bounce<br />
flash, fill flash, backing up your photos<br />
onto an external hard drive and more<br />
advanced photo editing programs such<br />
as some Photoshop and Lightroom<br />
techniques, etc. This is a hands-on class,<br />
so bring your camera, owner’s manual,<br />
tripod and an extra battery.<br />

of a camera goes a long way in helping you<br />

DSLR, this class focuses on camera basics,<br />
advancing your intuitive vision and the<br />
simple art of manipulating photographs<br />

who are familiar with the operations of<br />

15-hour seminar is to show you how to get<br />
a perfect exposure using the 18 percent<br />
gray and zone system, how to photograph<br />
Panoramas from camera capture to<br />
Photoshop completion, high definition<br />
resolution (HDR) from bracketing in<br />
camera Photomatix Pro 3 completion, how<br />
to be in the right place at the right time to<br />
capture the elusive moment the way your<br />
eye saw it.<br />
