you’re looking for in mediation.
Offered in partnership with
Mediators without Borders © , this
online program offers a highly
comprehensive mediation education
that can help you advance in your
present job, add a sought after skill
to your resume or set up a private
practice as a Certified Mediator.
As you progress through the
program, you’ll have the opportunity
to learn about conflict styles,
pre-negotiation, communication
and the stages of mediation (from
beginning to the end). In addition,
you’ll have the opportunity to practice
your new skills with a 60-hour online
internship where you can role-play
your way through mediation sessions.
In these moderated webinars, you’ll
have the chance to serve as the
mediator, disputant or observer;
it’s perfect preparation for the real
world of mediating.
Please note that anyone can
mediate a dispute. Our training is
focused on those pursuing conflict
resolution training as an International
Mediator, Generalist or Conflict
Coach. In addition, it’s appropriate
for those pursuing mediation roles in
Workplace, Health care, Eldercare and
Construction settings. If you want to
become a court ordered mediator in
a particular state for court-mandated
cases, please contact your state’s
supreme court for their requirements.
Upon registering, you’re given an
initial six months to complete this
program. Should you need more time
beyond the six months, an extension
of six months is available with a fee
of $199.
