<strong>The</strong> stats option shown above displays the switching path and the number of characters and packets in and out<br />
for processor and route cache (<strong>Cisco</strong> Express Forwarding). As can be seen, only a few packets have been<br />
process-switched and a very large number have been switched via the route cache (with <strong>Cisco</strong> Express<br />
Forwarding enabled).<br />

information for the interface. Note the helper address pointing to the switch DLS2 DHCP server IP address. This<br />
router interface has joined multicast group 224.0.0.10 for communication between EIGRP routers. Also note that<br />
<strong>Cisco</strong> Express Forwarding is enabled.<br />
