However, the consensus of opinion is that the acid test for short films is the<br />
subsequent progression of talent, especially directors, into feature filmmaking.<br />
“A good measure of success of short film schemes is to look at how many people go<br />
on to make features, and good features; ie demonstrating that progression on the<br />
ladder from shorts to features…”<br />
