This course, LS15C – Overcoming Math Anxiety: Intermediate Algebra, is designed to reduce math anxiety and build selfconfidence<br />

so that algebraic concepts of real numbers, first-degree equations and inequalities, systems of equations and<br />

inequalities, polynomials and exponents, rational expressions, rational exponents and radicals, quadratic equations and<br />

inequalities, functions and relations, exponential and logarithmic function, sequences and series, and conic sections will be<br />

Students with disabilities learn how to employ multi-sensory techniques and strategies in order to meet the demands of the<br />

college's academic curriculum. Enrollment is intended for students with current functional limitations which (that) impede<br />

or prevent the student from benefiting from their academic classes without this foundation and support. Topics include selfassessment<br />

of learning style, goal setting, time management, and learning systems strategies.
