This course, LS15C – Overcoming Math Anxiety: Intermediate Algebra, is designed to reduce math anxiety and build selfconfidence
so that algebraic concepts of real numbers, first-degree equations and inequalities, systems of equations and
inequalities, polynomials and exponents, rational expressions, rational exponents and radicals, quadratic equations and
inequalities, functions and relations, exponential and logarithmic function, sequences and series, and conic sections will be

Students with disabilities learn how to employ multi-sensory techniques and strategies in order to meet the demands of the
college's academic curriculum. Enrollment is intended for students with current functional limitations which (that) impede
or prevent the student from benefiting from their academic classes without this foundation and support. Topics include selfassessment
of learning style, goal setting, time management, and learning systems strategies.
