studies, practices, and performs level one intermediate piano repertoire from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and
Twentieth Century periods selected by the instructor. Repertoire to include the equivalent of Bach inventions, Diabelli
sonatinas, Schumann Kinderszenen, and Kabalevsky Op. 27. Technique to include the equivalent of Hanon 60 exercises
#1-19, Czerny Op. 100 #10-20, and all melodic minor scales in four octaves with cadences. Public performances are
required. For the piano student who has studied for two or more years of private or class piano. (If prerequisite is not met,
