bacterial physiology, cytology, genetics, growth and reproduction, and the effects of physical and chemical agents on the<br />

bacterial cell. Applied fields covered are food, water, milk, air, soil and industrial microbiology. The immune response,<br />

diseases and bacteriologic techniques are stressed.<br />
