BellSouth will notify the Commission and the telecommunications carriers on the
waiting list by mail when space will become available. If BellSouth does not know
sixty (60) days in advance of when Remote Collocation Space will become
available, BellSouth will notify the Commission and the telecommunications
carriers on the waiting list within two (2) business days of the determination that
space will become available.
6.7.2 When Remote Collocation Space becomes available, OTI must submit an updated,
complete, and accurate Application to BellSouth within thirty (30) days of such
notification that Remote Collocation Space will be available in the requested
Remote Site Location previously out of space. If OTI has originally requested
caged Remote Collocation Space and cageless Remote Collocation Space becomes
available, OTI may refuse such space and notify BellSouth in writing, within the
thirty (30) day timeframe referenced above, that OTI wishes to maintain its place
on the waiting list for caged Remote Collocation Space, without accepting the
available cageless Remote Collocation Space. OTI may accept an amount of space
less than what it originally requested by submitting an Application as set forth
above, and, upon request, may maintain its position on the waiting list for the
remaining space that was initially requested. If OTI does not submit an
Application or notify BellSouth in writing within the thirty (30) day timeframe as
described above, BellSouth will offer the available Remote Collocation Space to
the next telecommunications carrier on the waiting list and remove OTI from the
waiting list. Upon request, BellSouth will advise OTI as to its position on the
waiting list for a particular Remote Site Location.
6.8 Public Notification. BellSouth will maintain on its Interconnection Services Web
site, a notification document that will indicate all Remote Site Locations that are
without available space. BellSouth shall update such document within ten (10)
days of the date that BellSouth becomes aware that there is insufficient space to
accommodate collocation at the Remote Site Location. BellSouth will also post a
document on its Interconnection Services Web site that contains a general notice
where space has become available in a Remote Site Location previously on the
space exhaust list.
6.9 Application Response. In Florida, within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Bona
Fide Application, when Remote Collocation Space has been determined to be
available or when a lesser amount of space than that requested is available, then
with respect to the Remote Collocation Space available, BellSouth will provide an
Application Response including sufficient information to enable OTI to place a
firm order. The Application Response will include, at a minimum, the
configuration of the space, the Cable Installation Fee, the Cable Records Fee, and
any other applicable space preparation fees, as described in Section 8 below.
When OTI submits ten (10) or more Applications within ten (10) days, the initial
fifteen (15) day response interval will increase by ten (10) days for every additional
ten (10) Applications or fraction thereof.
