If vocational training is offered through a professional lyceum <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> number of years <strong>and</strong><br />

<strong>The</strong> lowest passing grade is ‘3’. Students must pass each course in order to enroll in <strong>the</strong> next<br />

grade or to graduate. <strong>The</strong> grade ‘1’ also exists, but is used very rarely.<br />

A plus (+) or a minus (-) may be added to a grade. For example, a ‘4+’ is higher than a<br />

‘4’ <strong>and</strong> lower than a ‘5-’. A ‘5+’ is very rare. <strong>The</strong>se intermediate grades may be awarded<br />

throughout <strong>the</strong> period of study but typically not as a final grade.<br />
