RATHBONE GENEALOGY.
the Township of Brantford. and within eight miles of Brantford
city. He was a man of strict moral character. He never
united with the church, but was a regular attendant of the
services of the house of God. Ministers were always welcome
to his hospitable home. His wife was a noble Christian
woman. They both lived to see their children grown up and
most of them settled in life. They lived to see the wilderness
removed and the fruitful helds and fine farm houses in the
place thereof. He died April 5. 1867. His wife died Nov.
21, 1875. Children:
