Landlord and <strong>Tenant</strong> (<strong>Termination</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Tenancies</strong>) Bill<br />
(3) In consequence <strong>of</strong> a provision made by or under this Act, the Secretary <strong>of</strong> State<br />
may by order amend an enactment passed be<strong>for</strong>e or in the same Session as this<br />
Act.<br />
(4) In relation to provision which deals with matters with respect to which<br />
functions are exercisable by the Welsh Ministers, the power under subsection<br />
(3) is exercisable only with the agreement <strong>of</strong> the Welsh Ministers.<br />
(5) The amendments that may be made under subsection (3) are in addition to—<br />
(a) those made by any other provision <strong>of</strong> this Act, and<br />
(b) those which may be made under paragraph 2(b) <strong>of</strong> Schedule 1.<br />
(6) Amendments and repeals made by or under this Act have the same extent as<br />
the enactments to which they relate.<br />
35 Commencement, extent and short title<br />
(1) This Act (other than this section and sections 32 and 33 so far as they relate to<br />
this section) comes into <strong>for</strong>ce on the day appointed by order made by the<br />
appropriate national authority.<br />
(2) This Act extends to England and Wales only (subject to section 34(6)).<br />
(3) This Act may be cited as the Landlord and <strong>Tenant</strong> (<strong>Termination</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Tenancies</strong>)<br />
Act 2006.<br />
