<strong>Emirates</strong> also had five B747 freighters on wet lease for its cargo operations at 31 March <strong>2009</strong>.<br />

In addition to above, <strong>Emirates</strong> has contracted for three B777-200LRF and five B747-800F for delivery from Dubai Aerospace<br />

Enterprise (DAE) on operating lease.<br />

During the year three A310 freighter aircraft were disposed off.<br />

<strong>Emirates</strong> operates one of the youngest fleet in the industry with an average age of 64 months <strong>com</strong>pared with an industry average of<br />
