SUBJECT: Minutes of the DMA, DNR <strong>and</strong> USFWS Annual Meeting, 3 March 2009<br />

1. Introduction. Mr. Dave Hamernick at 1005, 3 March 2009, called the annual meeting of the Natural<br />

Resource committee to order. The meeting was held at the Arden Hills City Hall. Members present:<br />

2. Opening Remarks.<br />

Mr. Hamernick welcomed everyone to Arden Hills Army Training Site (AHATS) <strong>and</strong> provided a brief<br />

history of his involvement with the natural resource programs. Mr. Hamernick thanked all of those<br />

present for their commitment <strong>and</strong> hard work in helping implement the natural resource programs at<br />

AHATS. The objectives of the meeting were to discuss 2008 accomplishments <strong>and</strong> 2009 work plans for<br />

the AHATS Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP).<br />

3. Discussion.<br />

A discussion by Mr. Hamernick regarding the status on range use <strong>and</strong> development kicked off the<br />

meeting. A presentation was given by Mr. Brezinka regarding DMA‟s natural resource involvement on<br />

the site. A presentation was presented by Mr. Moriarty <strong>and</strong> Mr. Andresen. Comments were given by the<br />

DNR <strong>and</strong> USFWS partners. Listed below are some of the key issues, highlights, <strong>and</strong> projects regarding<br />

natural resource management on AHATS.<br />
