wherein Q is as above disclosed and preferably is , which is bond to
the Z scaffold through the Y linker.
As for the scaffold moiety, within the compounds of formula (I), Z may be
selected among liposomes, nanoparticles, polymers, dendrimers or dendrons.
Liposome, in particular, may be composed of naturally-derived phospholipids
with mixed lipid chains like phosphatidylethanolamine or of surfactant
components like dioleoylphosphatidylethanolamine (DOPE), etc. In particular,
they consist in phospholipid vesicles that have a bilayer membrane structure
similar to that of the biological membrane and an internal aqueous phase.
Their amphiphilic nature enables liposomes to transport hydrophilic drugs
entrapped within their aqueous interior and hydrophobic drugs dissolved into
the membrane. Moreover, the liposome surface can be modified with ligans
and/or polymers to increase drug delivery specifity (see, for instance, Torchilin,
V. P. Nat. Rev. Drug Discov. 2005, 4 , 145-160).
Inorganic nanoparticles, in particular, may be a type of multivalent compound
which have a central core composed by inorganic material (metals, ceramic,
semiconductor nanocrystals, etc.) that define their physical properties. They
