PCS 7 SOE: Function block for signal recording
with 1 ms resolution
■ Overview
6/6
Siemens ST PCS 7.1 · September 2005
■ Function
The SOE driver offers:
• Individual messages
Each change of status of the process signals is transmitted to
the SIMATIC PCS 7 operator system with a resolution of 1 ms.
• Double messages
Defined states of 2 signals and intermediate states are signaled.
• Fleeting indications
Changes of state of the inputs from "0" to "1" are transmitted.
• Bit pattern 8/16/24/32 bit
Freely definable states of equipment can be recorded.
• Transformer stages
Defined and undefined states of transformer stage encoders
are signaled.
• Count values
Up to 16 count values of the module can be read out.
■ Selection and Ordering Data Order No.
With the aid of this function block, externally time-stamped
events are processed in the automation system and signaled in
correct sequence to the operator system. If the connection to the
Module for synchronization of
operator system is faulty, the PCS 7 SOE can buffer as many as Input module for signal recording
2000 messages by default. Additional 1927 messages can be
buffered in an additional data block.
The PCS 7 SOE function block requires the input module
SICAM DI32 for the signal recording. The SICAM DI32 input
