applied in this area by the end <strong>of</strong> this month.<br />

This is the northeast corner <strong>of</strong> the library. Wooden shelving<br />

and library furniture have been ordered. We expect summer delivery and<br />

installation.<br />

Next slide, please. This is the main kitchen area. The<br />

ventilation hood is the hanging structure in the center. Ranges, ovens,<br />

steam kettles and et cetera will be installed in this area this summer. This<br />

week, quarry tile is being laid on the floor.<br />

Furniture and equipment are shown on the financial slide with<br />

a current budget <strong>of</strong> just under $4 million, and the existing balance at three<br />

million two. This slide represents the plan for furnishing the final parts <strong>of</strong><br />

this project. The furniture and equipment and technology ordered and<br />

planned to be ordered are within the established budget for these items.<br />

Safety on the job is an important item; TLT and Gilbane are<br />

actively overseeing. Since the last report, there were two accidents. One<br />

was an ankle sprain and the other was a hammer accident. Both men are<br />

back at work. We use Briggs Engineering to test the various products and<br />

systems. Weekly visits by the Building Department have proved very<br />

helpful in keeping Phase 2 on track and in compliance with regulations.<br />

We have had three visits from the Massachusetts School Building<br />

Authority during Phase 2 and a fourth visit is scheduled for this<br />
