about this: if that property is illegal, then the <strong>Town</strong> cannot assess them<br />

legally for what they’ve been assessing them for the past 84 years. So this<br />

should be a simple vote.<br />

And as a Planning Board member, we indefinitely postponed<br />

this in November because we were confused when Mr. DeWitt got up and<br />

spoke and Mr. Latimer spoke and they thought we should wait to fix this.<br />

But now I understand that we, as <strong>Town</strong> Members, don’t have to wait. This<br />

is the fix. It will fix everything and you won’t have to hear about this again.<br />

All those 230 members can sleep easy at night. We had<br />

several <strong>of</strong> them come to our Planning Board meeting and they were upset.<br />

They were purely upset because they lost the rights that they have as<br />

taxpayers. And I would advise everybody to please vote for this and pass<br />

this so those people have their rights back. Just like I was told, I’m a<br />

member <strong>of</strong> an elected board and so are you, please fix this for those<br />

taxpayers, thank you.<br />
