The only example of a dagger molded as one piece (Handle and blade are<br />

molded together) is found in Kültepe (Cat. No: 26). The crescentic pommel looks<br />

similar to the Alaca Höyük iron Dagger (Cat. No: 8).<br />

The dagger typologies in Central Anatolia show some shared morphological<br />

unity. In addition, typology of daggers indicates the existence of local preferences. In<br />

the next chapter, these dagger typologies will be discussed in their regional and inter<br />

regional context.<br />
