Each computer has a unique machine<br />
ID (ethernet address) which will be<br />
used to generate your individual<br />
license key. You can find the machine<br />
ID in the „Licensing“ window of the<br />
software in the upper left corner.<br />
. . Installation<br />
1) Turn on the computer on which you wish to install and<br />
use the software.<br />
2) Insert the basICColor <strong>display</strong> 4.1 CD-ROM into your drive.<br />
• Mac: The basICColor CD-ROM folder will appear on your<br />
screen. Click on it to access to the basICColor <strong>display</strong> 4.1<br />
Installer or open the downloaded installer. We recom-<br />
mend a download as it ensures you have the latest ver-<br />
sion.<br />
• Windows: If the basICColor <strong>display</strong> 4.1 CD-ROM does<br />
not appear automatically go to “My Computer” and se-<br />
lect the CD-ROM drive.<br />
3) Begin installation by selecting the basICColor <strong>display</strong> 4.1<br />
Installer. Follow the instructions on the screen.<br />
4) Once basICColor <strong>display</strong> 4.1 has been successfully installed,<br />
you can begin calibrating and profiling your monitor.<br />
You may now connect the measurement sensor to the<br />
computer.<br />
